PMGC 2022 Schedule, Groups, Location and Prize pool

PUBG Mobile’s mega event, Pubg Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2022 , is ready to create a thriller global contest among the top teams from around the world that fans wait for at the end of every year. Several teams will be seen competing in an official event for the trophy and an enormous prize pool of $4 million.

SCHEDULE


League stage is going to be a long run for the teams as they have to go through a total of three rounds to qualify for the grand finals. The major change about PMGC League Stage this year is that it is split into three stages. The details are as follows:

1. Group Stage – 10th November to 27th November
2. Survival stage – 30th November to 2nd December
3. Last Chance – 3rd -4th December

Group Stage
The Group Stage will take place from November 10th to 27th and will split 48 teams into three groups.

Survival Stage
The top 3 from each group will advance directly to the PMGC Grand Finals, and the bottom 4 teams will be eliminated. The remaining teams will enter the Survival stage and will fight for the top sixteen spot of Last Chance.

Last Chance
The Last Chance will be held on December 3rd and 4th and will provide the final pathway for top 4 teams heading to the PMGC Grand Finals.

For the group stage, a total of 48 teams will be coming to Malaysia and divided into three groups. The group draw show was hosted live this year and here are the groups that were drawn:

LOCATION


PUBG Mobile Esports will be touring for the first time this year as PUBG Mobile Global Championship will be hosted in two different countries. The organizers recently announced that they are hosting the PMGC League Stage in Kuala Lampur, Malaysia.

PMGC 2022 LEAGUE STAGE PRIZE POOL DISTRIBUTION


PMGC 2022 is the biggest PUBG Mobile event of the year where best teams from all the corners of the world travel to a single destination to fight for glory and a humongous prize pool.

This year, the prize pool has been increased to $4 million and the destinations are multiple. The league stage will be hosted in Malaysia whereas grand finals are scheduled to be in Indonesia next year.

Each PMGC league stage participating team will receive a $10,000 USD participation reward for attending the tournament. The group stage will feature $463,000 USD per group. Here is the group stage distribution.

The top 3 teams from the group stage will qualify for the grand finals whereas teams finishing from 4th to 11th spot will qualify to the survival stage. The survival stage will feature a prize pool of $348,000 USD that will be distributed among 24 teams.

The top 16 teams from the survival stage will qualify for the last chance. The last chance will feature a prize pool of $283,000 USD. The top four teams from the last chance will qualify for the PMGC 2022 Grand Finals.
