Nigma Galaxy Thailand is the champion of Lidoma Asia Cup

The final of this tournament was held for 4 consecutive days from October 11 to 14. A total of 12 teams played 8 matches each day in the finals. Battling top teams from nine countries, Thailand’s team Nigma Galaxy was crowned the champion with a total of 474 points with 256 kill points and 218 placement points with 6 Booyahs. They will take home 2,260 USD. Also, their complete dominance was seen throughout the finals and Nigma Galaxy took home the Most Booyah, Most Kill Points and Most Position points. Indian teams HEX Esports with a total of 444 points and Godlike Esports with 368 points finished second and third respectively.

The Lidoma Asia Cup is a Free Fire tournament which is organized by Lidoma. In this tournament, a total of nine countries from Asia including Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Indonesia, Pakistan, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Sri Lanka participated in this online event and the teams got the opportunity to participate through open registration. The prizepool of the tournament was 6,280 USD (640,00 BDT / 500,000 INR).

Participated Countries

36 teams qualified for the quarter-finals on 29 September after the country qualifiers for the tournament were completed on 15 September. The 12 teams topping the points table in the quarter-finals qualified for the Golden Round and the remaining 18 teams went directly to the semi-finals.
Then the top 6 teams in the points table from the 12 teams playing the golden round qualified directly for the finals and the remaining 6 teams went to the semi-finals.
The first 6 teams out of 24 teams qualified for the finals in this semi-final held from October 6 to 9.
Finally, a total of 12 teams got the opportunity to participate in this four-day final from October 11 to 14.

Extreme Ex Esports, Team Hell’s Paradise, Ambush Esports and Unique Legends from Bangladesh progressed with good performances but their journey was limited to the semi-finals and they failed to qualify for the finals. One of Pakistan’s teams House of Blood finished their journey in the finals in 11th position and Malaysian team Expand finished the tournament at the bottom of the points table with a total of 70 points.
